Book Loans

How to borrow

Registered students and staff can borrow materials from the open shelves using their student or staff ID card. Simply bring the materials you wish to borrow to the circulation desk with your ID card, and our staff will issue the loan for you.

Loan rules

• Most general books loan for a set period and can be renewed if no one else has reserved them
• Reference materials and reserved (short-loan) items stay in the Library
• Return loans on time to avoid fines
• Renew online or in person at the circulation desk

Reservations

If the book you need is already on loan, place a reservation and we will hold it for you when it is returned. Ask at the circulation desk for help with reservations and inter-library requests.
